Growth Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW

About the Opportunity

Job Role:

The role is responsible for driving sustainable growth and revenue through customer acquisition, activation and conversion, and the productivity of direct marketing and sales channels. The role holder translates approved monthly and annual targets into focused growth initiatives, monitors performance across the acquisition-to-transaction funnel, and drives measurable business impact through strong quality and execution discipline.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Postgraduate qualification or MBA is preferred
Relevant Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in business growth, revenue management, customer acquisition, sales, direct marketing or channel management. Previous Banking industry experience preferred

Key Accountabilities:
Accountability 1: Revenue achievement:
 Own the execution of growth initiatives to deliver approved monthly and annual revenue targets.
 Translate revenue targets into clear customer, channel, campaign, activation and transaction plans.
 Monitor actual revenue against targets and the approved business plan, identify performance gaps and drive timely corrective actions.
 Provide disciplined revenue performance updates, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities and actions.

Accountability 2: Customer acquisition
 Plan and execute customer acquisition initiatives across approved sales and direct marketing channels.
 Drive growth in new customers and newly active customers in line with the approved acquisition plan.
 Track acquisition performance by channel and campaign, and use insights to improve lead quality and acquisition effectiveness.
 Coordinate with relevant teams to remove acquisition bottlenecks and strengthen execution.

Accountability 3: Activation and conversion
 Manage performance across the customer funnel from lead and onboarding through activation, first transaction and repeat transaction.
 Improve lead/onboarding-to-active conversion and activation rates through focused interventions.
 Analyse customer behaviour and funnel drop-offs to identify and implement opportunities for stronger conversion and repeat transactions.
 Track the impact of activation and conversion initiatives and ensure actions are completed with quality and discipline.

Accountability 4: Channel productivity
 Evaluate revenue, conversion and campaign effectiveness across direct marketing and sales channels.
 Improve channel productivity by focusing resources and initiatives on measurable business outcomes.
 Establish regular channel performance reviews and maintain clear visibility of results, gaps and follow-up actions.
 Work with relevant teams to strengthen channel execution and sustain performance improvement.
